1. Information we collect

Tenor does not require you to create an account, and every loan calculation happens locally in your browser — the loan amounts, rates, and tenures you enter are never sent to or stored on our servers. We do not know, and cannot see, what figures you calculate.

2. What is stored in your browser

Your currency preference, theme (light/dark), and default calculator settings are saved only in your own browser's local storage so they persist between visits. This data never leaves your device and is not accessible to us.

3. Cookies

  • Google Analytics (gtag.js) — sets cookies to measure anonymized traffic, page views, and general usage patterns so we can improve the site.
  • Google AdSense — sets cookies (including the DoubleClick cookie) to serve ads, and may use them, along with data from partner networks, to show ads that are more relevant to you based on your visits to this and other sites.
  • Cookiebot — our consent management platform, which remembers your cookie preferences so we don't need to ask again on every visit, and lets you review or withdraw consent at any time via the cookie settings link in the footer.

7. Indian data protection (DPDP Act)

For users in India, we process only the limited, non-identifying data described above (anonymized analytics and advertising cookies) in line with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal data, financial account information, or government identifiers through this Service.
